We're so glad to welcome a new year and bitter sweet in ways to see 2006 go. Some highlights for us in 2006: welcomed sweet Cole to our family, witnessed Abbey's 1st dance recital, vacationed to Nashville, bought a new car, went to ACU's 101st Homecoming, and have thouroughly enjoyed watching our two kiddos interact and find joy in each other (very sweet)! Things we will gladly kiss goodbye from 2006: many, many sleepless nights with a newborn, Cole having RSV and all the other sicknesses the rest of us shared, the terrible murder of sweet Ashton Glover, the illnesses and losses that some of our closest friends and family endured. God is ALWAYS good and we look forward to experiencing His goodness and all that He has planned for our lives in this next year. "But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness." Psalm 86:15 January is in full swing with Abbey back to school, Cole staring a Gymboree class, Chad working hard, and me, trying to finish loosing baby weight! At the end of November I started working out with a trainer and though I've had some delays with Cole and me getting sick, I'm back at it and have already lost 15 pounds (Woo HOO)! It's hard to believe that Abbey's B-Day and Chad's big 30th are just around the bend; we're not even going to talk about Cole's 1st!! :) Here are some of our pics from over the holidays, feel free to leave comments.
