October is here and it's flying fast!!! This is one of my favorite months; the weather is cooling off, I can get out my pumpkin 
spice candles, there is football games, chili, and ACU Homecoming! We just got back from another fun year at ACU's 101st Homecoming. Hard to believe the University has been around for that long, it's really awesome to think about. Of course, it was a much more challenging trip than I could have planned for with having two this time around. I have to say, I was quite proud of myself for packing all of our stuff (which was a lot) and the 2 kids, picking up my brother and his girlfreind, and heading out to ACU all without Chad's help. Chad was already there for the business board of visitors so we just met him up there. Now I feel empowered to do anything; I hope I feel this same sence of empowerment in 2 weeks when we have to pack up the kids and all of our stuff and head to Nashville on an airplane this time!! In all, it was just the best to sit in ACU's Homecoming chapel with my husband and 2 beautiful children and bask in the amazing grace and blessings that He's bestowed on my life. I am in just total awe of the mercy He's shown me and my family.
